Body lotion is a viscous emulsion: pump and piston selection follows its shear behaviour and air content, and a shut-off nozzle prevents stringing into the seal area — the most common packaging defect with viscous products. In cosmetics the pack is also the face of the product on the shelf; sachet lines cover everything from single-use samples to travel sizes with clean, straight seals.
