High-performance packaging systems engineered for liquid and viscous products. Backed by decades of industry experience and in-house engineering, our servo-driven volumetric piston fillers feature custom-designed shut-off nozzles that guarantee zero-drip precision and consistent grammage. From free-flowing beverages to thick pastes like ketchup and mayonnaise, these systems are built with high-grade stainless steel and Clean-In-Place (CIP) readiness to meet the strictest food safety standards.
Olive oil punishes weak packaging twice: it wicks through marginal seals and oxidises when film barrier is poor. Low viscosity and low surface tension let it creep into the seal band before the jaws close, and a thin oil film in that band is enough to stop a proper weld from forming — the pack leaves the machine looking correct and leaks in the case a day later. The second failure is slower and harder to see: with a weak barrier, oxygen and light reach the oil and the aroma that justified its price is gone before anyone opens the pack. Oil-tight seal parameters, high-barrier laminates and optional nitrogen flush protect both integrity and taste. An olive oil filling machine in this class works with volumetric liquid dosing: a metered piston or pump draws a fixed volume and delivers it through a shut-off nozzle that closes at the end of the stroke. Because the product is thin, wets steel readily and strings from any nozzle left dripping, that closing action is what keeps the seal band clean. The tail is cut rather than drawn out, and the jaws close on dry material. Contact parts and gaskets are selected for continuous oil contact, and the dosing circuit is laid out for CIP, so a line running more than one oil grade can be changed over without being stripped down. Formats follow the way the portion is used. On an olive oil stick pack machine the pack is a single serve for restaurants, salad bars and travel kits: flat, quick to tear, easy to drop into a table caddy or a meal box. An olive oil sachet packaging machine covers the slightly larger portion — hotel amenity trays, catering and in-flight meal sets, sampling and private label work — where a three- or four-side seal sachet prints well and stacks tidily. Both formats turn a premium bulk product into a controlled-portion experience: consumption is predictable and the brand stays visible on every pack. Dosing runs from 5 to 15 ml, covering the usual single-serve range from a small tasting portion to a full salad serve. Output depends on how many lanes the pack width allows, not on cycle rate alone: with a narrow pack an MSM1200 runs 12 lanes and up to 960 packs per minute, while the same machine on a wider pack runs 6 lanes and up to 480 packs per minute. Machines that suit the product are ARTISTICK (1-5 lanes), HSM (1-3), ISM400 (2-5), ISM600 (3-7), SPM320 (1-8), SPM800 (4-12), SPM1200 (7-12), MSM800 (4-10) and MSM1200 (6-12). Lane count is fixed by pack width, so the format decision comes before the machine decision. Typical buyers of an olive oil packaging machine are bottlers moving into portions, foodservice and catering suppliers, hotel and airline meal packers, salad and meal-kit producers, and contract packers running private label alongside their own brands.
