Surface cleaner concentrates carry surfactants and solvents that stress ordinary films. The same chemistry that lifts grease off a worktop attacks the sealant layer, the print and the adhesive of a laminate, and a concentrate sitting in a pack for months finds any weak point in that structure. Low surface tension makes the liquid spread instead of bead, so a single droplet on the sealing area is enough to ruin the seal. Chemical-resistant laminates and drip-free dosing produce single-dose sachets designed for the refill trend: one sachet into a reusable spray bottle. Accurate dosing is the whole product promise, which puts volumetric precision at the centre of the line: the user adds a fixed volume of water, so an under- or over-filled pack changes the strength of the finished cleaner. Filling is volumetric. Servo-driven piston dosing suits both the thin, water-like concentrates and the thicker, gel-like pastes in this group, because a positive-displacement piston measures the volume it displaces instead of depending on flow that shifts with viscosity and temperature. Each lane carries its own piston and its own shut-off nozzle; the nozzle cuts the column at the end of the stroke so no thread of product reaches the film. Surfactant-bearing liquids entrain air readily, so fill speed and nozzle geometry are set to place the dose without whipping foam into the pack, and product-contact parts are chosen for solvent compatibility. A surface cleaner stick pack machine gives the narrow single-dose format that fits a refill carton and ships flat: one stick, one bottle, no measuring cap. A surface cleaner sachet packaging machine produces the flat four-side-seal sachet, with a large print area, for retail, hotel, janitorial and sample distribution. Where the dose is larger, the same product runs as a VFFS pillow bag in the same chemical-resistant laminate. Retail refill lines usually choose stick pack or sachet; professional supply often stays with the pillow bag. The dose range for this product is 5 to 20 ml per pack. Output depends on how many lanes the pack width allows, so cycle rate and packs per minute are not the same number. With narrow packs an MSM1200 runs twelve lanes and reaches up to 960 packs per minute; the same machine set for a wide pack runs six lanes and delivers up to 480 packs per minute. Every model behaves this way — widen the pack and lanes are lost, narrow it and lanes are gained — so an output figure only means something once the pack drawing is fixed. Typical customers are household and industrial cleaning chemical producers, private-label fillers and contract packers serving retail chains, and suppliers to hotels, catering, facility management and vehicle care. Refill brands that sell the bottle once and the concentrate many times use the same line for e-commerce shipments, where a flat, leak-free pack ships for far less than a filled bottle.
