Packaging Notes

Polishing cream and varnish are solvent-based, fast-drying and unforgiving: any residue cures inside the machine. A film left on a nozzle tip, inside a manifold or under a seal does not simply dry — it hardens into the product path and shifts the dose before anyone notices. The same chemistry that makes a coating set quickly on a surface works against every static volume inside a filler. Viscosity climbs as solvent flashes off, so a product path that is open to air at any point drifts away from its target weight over a shift. Solvent-rated seals and films, closed product paths and disciplined purge routines are what keep lines reliable rather than merely fast. Dosing is handled by positive-displacement piston metering. The cylinder draws a fixed volume from a closed hopper and pushes it through a shut-off nozzle that closes on the pack, so the product does not string, hang or drip between cycles — the point that matters most with a cream that is viscous and skins over quickly. Piston stroke sets the dose, so a batch that arrives slightly thicker or thinner still fills to the same volume. On the contact side everything is specified for solvents: seal materials, hoses, o-rings and the nozzle assembly, together with a film whose sealant layer tolerates the coating. Nozzle geometry is matched to the paste so cut-off is clean and the seal area stays free of product, because a trace of varnish in the seal is a leaking pack. The stick pack suits repair kits and touch-up work: one stick is one job, and the format drops neatly into a boxed kit — a polishing cream stick pack machine delivers that portion in a single cycle.
