Advanced packaging technology designed specifically for non-free-flowing powders. Utilizing state-of-the-art servo-driven auger fillers, our machines deliver exceptional dosing accuracy for challenging products like powder coffee, milk powder, protein powder, baking powder, macrogol, and chemicals. Engineered with anti-dust architectures and independent agitation systems to prevent bridging and ensure perfect seal integrity.
Chlorine-based powders are oxidising and corrosive — they attack ordinary films, seals and metals. The damage is rarely visible on day one; it shows up later as pinholed laminate, seals that open in the warehouse, pitted frames and control parts that fail early where fine dust has settled. The chemistry is only half the problem. As a non-free-flowing powder the material bridges over the hopper outlet, packs under its own weight and changes bulk density with compaction, so a dose taken purely by volume drifts in weight between the first bag and the last. Dust trapped in a seal is also the most common cause of a bag that leaks in storage. For that reason chlorine powder is filled by auger rather than by volumetric cup or free-fall gate. A servo-driven auger meters by screw rotation and pushes the powder through the fill tube instead of waiting for it to flow, while an agitator keeps a bridge from forming above the screw. Chemically rated laminates, stainless and coated contact parts, and sealed dust-controlled dosing protect machine and operator; extraction at the fill tube keeps the sealing area clean. In the 500-1500 g range the working format is a VFFS pillow bag or gusseted bag, formed, filled and sealed from one reel of chemically rated film. Many buyers start the search with chlorine powder sachet packaging machine or stick pack; those formats belong to far smaller unit doses, while a kilo-scale dose for a pool, a tank or a cleaning batch is packed as a pillow bag. The logic is the same either way: one pack is one dose, so exact single-dose packs for water treatment and cleaning remove the most dangerous step — hand measuring. The dose range on this chlorine powder filling machine is 500 to 1500 g. Production is vertical VFFS on a single tube, so the cycle rate is the bag count itself: up to 35-45 packs per minute, with no lane multiplication behind the number. Where a line sits in that band depends on the dose, bag length and width, film behaviour and how fast the powder deaerates in the tube — a 1500 g bag is slower than a 500 g bag on the same machine. Mentpack builds this application on the VB vertical family: VB, VB-MINI, VB-PLUS and VB-Q. Model choice follows bag size, dose and required output, together with the level of chemical protection specified for contact parts and dust extraction. Typical users are water treatment chemical producers and blenders, pool and drinking water brands, disinfection and cleaning chemical packers, and contract packers producing private label chlorine products for retail and institutional hygiene. For all of them the value of a chlorine powder packaging machine is a repeatable dose, an intact seal and a floor where nobody handles open chlorine powder.
